PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The Supply Chain Analyst supports the Procurement & Data Analytics Team by performing data collection, validation, reporting, and basic visualization to enable operational and financial decisionmaking across the Supply Chain division. He/she works closely with Senior Supply Chain Analysts and the Manager to prepare accurate reports, maintain Supply Chain datasets, and assist in the development of dashboards.

This role contributes to Supply Chain's Master Data Management (MDM) efforts through accurate data entry, cleansing, and maintenance. The Supply Chain Analyst performs routine and ad hoc analytics to support sourcing initiatives, contract evaluation, and clinical/nonclinical stakeholders.

The position requires strong attention to detail, good analytical ability, and the capacity to learn and apply Supply Chain systems and tools.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Retrieves, cleans, and validates data from Supply Chain systems including Workday, PMM, Tecsys, and other approved data sources.

  • Assists in building and maintaining PowerBI datasets and basic dashboards under the guidance of senior team members.

  • Produces routine daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports accurately and on schedule.

  • Supports creation of ad hoc reports for procurement, sourcing, and operational needs.

  • Performs introductorylevel data analysis to support sourcing activities, spend reviews, vendor comparisons, and performance tracking.

  • Performs data integrity checks and participates in MDM data cleansing activities to maintain uniform item, vendor, and contract data.

  • Helps maintain project trackers, KPI dashboards, and templates used by the Procurement & Data Analytics Team.

  • Documents reporting processes and maintains version control of assigned datasets and outputs.

  • Coordinates with Supply Chain customers to clarify data needs and ensure delivered reports meet basic specifications.

  • Supports processimprovement efforts by providing foundational data and documenting workflow steps.

DIRECTION OF OTHERS:

None. May assist peers when delegated but holds no supervisory responsibilities.

DIRECTION/SUPERVISION RECEIVED:

  • Receives direction from the Manager, Procurement & Data Analytics.

  • Works closely with Senior Supply Chain Analysts for technical and project support.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare, IT, Supply Chain, or related field.

  • 1-2 years of experience in data analytics, preferably in healthcare or supply chain.

  • Experience working with large datasets preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required.

  • Exposure to PowerBI or similar visualization tools preferred.

  • Familiarity with SQL, database tools, or enterprise systems (e.g., Workday) beneficial.

  • Equivalent education and experience may be considered.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to validate and reconcile data.
  • Ability to learn new systems, analytical tools, and Supply Chain processes.
  • Strong organizational and timemanagement skills.
  • Customerfocused attitude and willingness to collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Annual Compensation Range $63,107.20 - $100,984.00 This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
