Tesla is seeking an Operations Leadtojoin the Energy Technical Content Team in Hayward, CA. Our teamis responsible for
enabling service technicians to meet Tesla's standardsthroughaccurate, accessible,andstreamlined documentation (written and media).
You will play a key role inensuring weexecute on our highest priority initiatives,provide critical enablementfor team efficiency and success,and identifystrategicopportunities where ourteamcandemonstrateits value andimpact.
What You'll Do
- Drive andmanage key initiatives,keepprojects ontrack,and proactivelycommunicateacross the businessto ensurealignmentand execution
Create and manage team and project roadmaps Own integrating the AI tools into the content development workflow Analyze, organize, andcommunicatekeymetricsrelated toteam contributions andprogress,leveragingJira dashboards and Confluence Communicate and collaborate with team members, subject matter experts,stakeholdersand leadership, building effectiveworking relationships Step in to support writing or localization projects as needed Support service and install efficiency work Developand reinforceteamenablement, including processes and guidelines,ensuringconsistencyacross thecontent we create andinhow we create it
What You'll Bring
Degree in English, TechnicalorProfessional Writing, Communications, or equivalentexperience 5+ years oftechnical writingexperienceor related professional experiencein a high-tech environment collaborating with technical subject matter experts Exemplary communication skills, including theability to form effective relationships with team membersand stakeholders,communicatingat all levels across the organization Experienceusing AI applications in daily life or inthe workenvironment, andacuriosity aboutleveragingand improving them Cheerful outlook and flexibility toward frequent change and inevitable mid-project priority modifications Strong attention to detail,personalorganization,and timemanagementskills Proficiencyusing tracking andproductivitytools such as Atlassian JIRA and Confluence Familiarityorexperience with XML,and DITA,andvideo production or content localizationworkflows

Expected Compensation
$68,000 - $192,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
