What to Expect
As a Quality Technician, you will support manufacturing operations by ensuring products meet strict quality standards based on
Buzz, Squeak, & Rattle (
BSR) of the vehicle
. This role involves conducting inspections,identifyingdefects, and collaborating with the production team to drive continuous improvement.
What You'll Do
- Perform visual, functional, and dimensional inspections on components and assemblies
- Utilize precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Identifyand document non-conformances using quality management systems
- Conduct first-article, in-process, and final inspections to verify compliance with specifications, communicating quality issues to production and engineering teams for corrective action
- Follow standard operating procedures andmaintainaccurateinspection recordsin addition tooperatinga Class-8 Truck
- Support root cause analysis and process improvement initiatives
- Maintain exemplary attendance and punctuality to scheduled shifts
What You'll Bring
- Ability to learn new skills and adapt to new work environments
- Ability to learnnew technologyandoperatemotor vehicles(CDL Preferred but notrequired; Driver's licenserequired)
- Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal
- Open to schedule flexibility that will allow for a variety of shifts, including days, nights, overnight, and/or weekends as needed as well as potential overtime
- Ability to work in a team-oriented production or manufacturing environment, including exhibiting strong interpersonal and communication skills with your teammates
- Ability and willingness tomaintaina safe and collaborative work environment
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship
Essential Physical Demands:
Wearing Personal Protective Equipment, including but not limitedto:safety glasses, safety shoes, bump caps, hearing protection, full-facedrespirators, gloves, and adhering to prescribed safety rules and guidelines
