Wage for the positions based on Tiers:



  • Assembler IVA - $17.03 + $1.00 shift differential

    Meet productivity standards of Assembler III + wire cutting, all ultrasonic welders and folding on complex commercial lines.

  • Assembler IVB- $17.60 + $1.00 shift differential

    Meet productivity standards of Tier A + operate 3D wire bender, slitter, and printing.



MDI is seeking skilled, experienced Assemblers to work FT at our Cohasset location. Candidates will assemble corrugated plastic pieces into finished products. High level of complexity and variability of products and duties. Must be self-directed and able to work independently.

Job Description

Essential Functions:



  • Experienced with complex assembly with variability of configurations, using a variety of assembly tools.

  • Find the resolution of minor problems and make recommendations for changes and improvements in processes and techniques.

  • Ensure compliance with work instructions and/or Quality Management System (QMS) procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to all current company policies.
  • Maintain a safe work environment for yourself and others including wearing mandatory Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Functions effectively in a fast paced, diverse, team environment.
  • Assist with department cleanliness and housekeeping.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:



  • Previous assembly experience required.
  • Ability to read, recognize, and understand complex instructions.
  • Satisfactory completion of a criminal background check.
  • Verified eligibility for employment in the United States.


Environment and Physical Demands:



  • A typical shift schedule ranges from 8-10 hours.
  • Continuously works in a typical factory environment (high noise levels, machinery, conveyors, dust, chemical, odors and temperature fluctuations.)
  • Continuously stands, pushes, pulls, reaches, and handles.
  • Continuous repetitive motion of upper extremities including continual flexion and extension of wrists, pinching, reaching, and grasping.
  • Frequently fingers, lifts, carries, and stoops (occasional maximum lift of 20 lbs).
  • Occasionally walks, and works close to moving parts.
