Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is looking for an individual to assist with real property/space management coordination. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in all tracking, moving, and reporting aspects of space management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates office moves, furniture reconfiguration, and facility preparation for occupants
  • Assists with the actual moving and set-up of office furniture, lab equipment, and items to various locations throughout our campus
  • Assists with space tracking including personnel locations, lab space, and usable space measurements
  • Coordinates and sets up rooms in various meeting spaces
  • Tracks and coordinates renewals for all current and future office and lab space leases and needs
  • Coordinates room planning for furniture set-up in accordance with customer direction
  • Coordinates for the disposition or storage of nonfunctional or excess furniture
  • Updates and monitors the accuracy of space utilization maps with square footages and occupants
  • Coordinates and prepares documentation for monthly and annual LEED requirements and Utility Monitoring reports
  • Reviews digital filing system to ensure all drawings are up-to-date and changes have been recorded accurately
  • Schedules appointments and meetings to coordinate calendars
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills for coordination with various stakeholders throughout the organization
  • Efficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Outlook and Visio
  • Ability to maintain facility maps in Microsoft Visio
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., or other U.S. person
  • Must hold a valid U.S. driver's license
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Ability to spend substantial time walking, standing, pulling, or reaching
  • Ability to safely move large and heavy items on a regular basis
  • Ability to push, pull, or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
