In this role, you'll help create a smooth, positive experience for every patient, from greeting them at check-in to coordinating appointments and supporting our clinical staff behind the scenes. Key Responsibilities * Professionally answer, screen, and route incoming calls * Schedule, confirm, and adjust patient appointments * Welcome patients and manage check-in/check-out procedures * Verify insurance information and obtain authorizations when needed * Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic medical system * Collaborate with clinical staff to support efficient patient flow * Assist with patient questions and resolve concerns with empathy and professionalism Qualifications * Minimum of 1 year of recent medical office administrative experience required * Candidates with medical scheduling experience or scheduling call center experience will also be considered * Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with facility staff * Self-directed, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently * Experience with EHR systems preferred (Athena or EPIC) Position Details * Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-5:00pm \| Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm (40 hours/week) * Pay Range: $20-$22/hour, based on experience * Benefits: Weekly pay cycle; Medical, Dental & Vision offered Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wallingford, CT.
