Description TEKsystems is seeking an experienced Desktop Support Technician to support end users across multiple counties including Rockcastle, Jackson, Laurel, Clay, Whitley, Knox, Bell, and Harlan. This role involves both remote and onsite support, so strong customer service skills and technical troubleshooting abilities are equally important. Qualified candidates must maintain a valid driver's license and be able to lift/carry heavy equipment or work in uncomfortable positions for extended periods. This role requires handson experience with desktop support (1-2+ years preferred), including installation, troubleshooting, and repair within a Windows-based environment. Basic networking troubleshooting is also required. Required Skills * Windows 7, Windows 10, Windows 11 * Microsoft Office, Outlook, Office 365 * Desktop hardware/software troubleshooting * Active Directory (user management) * Imaging and deployment experience * Printer setup/support * Basic networking & connectivity troubleshooting * Ticketing systems (ServiceNow or similar) * Customer service and enduser support (remote & in person) Top Technical Skills * Windows OS support (7/10/11) * Office 365 / Outlook * Active Directory * Imaging & deployment tools * Hardware/software troubleshooting * Customer service & communication skills Additional Qualifications * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to build relationships with end users * Teamoriented mindset * Ability to work independently in the field * Reliable and professional with strong followthrough Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of London, KY. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
