As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a highly visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access points while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the warehouse, yard, loading dock areas, and building perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or operational concerns.
• Monitor access points and traffic flow for employees, contractors, and drivers, including verifying credentials, logging entries and exits, and directing deliveries to the proper staging areas per site policy.
• Complete detailed reports on daily activity, incidents, and observations, and maintain accurate logs for patrols, access control, and key events.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Have access control and/or badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
