Shift: 8 am - 4:30 pm, Mon - Fri (1-hour lunch)

Here's what it takes to succeed with us.

• Previous torch cutting experience preferred
• Comfortable working outdoors in hot, cold, and dirty environments
• Ability to follow safety procedures and complete Hot Works safety training
• Strong work ethic and willingness to perform a variety of physical tasks
• Ability to communicate with coworkers and customers effectively
• Flexible and team-oriented with the ability to assist wherever needed
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting, bending, and carrying materials
• Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions
• Steel-toed shoes and sleeved shirts are required
• Denim jeans are required for safety

Responsibilities

• Operate a cutting torch to break down large metal pieces into manageable sizes
• Follow all Hot Work safety procedures and successfully complete required safety training
• Sort, rake, and weigh metal materials within the recycling yard
• Assist with processing scrap materials for recycling and shipment
• Perform general yard maintenance such as weed eating, mowing, and site cleanup
• Support customers arriving at the facility and assist with unloading or sorting materials
• Move and handle heavy scrap metal and materials throughout the yard
• Maintain a clean and safe work area while following operational safety guidelines
• Remain flexible and assist with additional yard duties as needed
