As a Management Consulting Manager at RSM, you will work with businesses across diverse industries while managing staff to deliver projects on time, on budget, and in line with client expectations. Working on numerous projects per year, you will focus on highquality delivery, developing team members, and supporting senior leaders in identifying opportunities to expand work within existing clients. RSM's Management Consulting Technology Sector Advisory Group provides strategy and advisory assistance to improve the overall operational effectiveness of Technology organizations. Key service offerings include:

  • Customer and Channel Partner Strategy

  • Operational Effectiveness Assessments across key functions

  • Business process optimization

  • Business process unification

  • Managed services - Continuous performance improvement

Responsibilities
  • Lead the execution of projects to help optimize key elements of a TMT company including but not limited to: Sales Operations, Renewal Management, Customer Success, Services & Support, Finance

  • Strong understanding of SaaS company operations and value creation, including business process improvement, postmerger integration support, endtoend automation, and technologyenabled transformation

  • Foundational understanding of corporate finance, accounting, management reporting, and business analysis

  • Contribute subjectmatter expertise in crossfunctional business processes including: Lead to Quote, Quote to Order, Renewals, Order to Cash, Customer Success, Customer Journey, Services & Support

  • Bring together crossfunctional teams, support alignment around decisions, and make recommendations to client leadership on business improvements

  • Drive highquality work within expected timeframes and on budget; monitor progress, manage risk, and ensure clients are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes

  • Participate in internal and external business development activities and help identify new opportunities through various channels

  • Understand firm capabilities and support expansion of client service across lines of business

  • Manage engagement/project financials

  • Develop industry specialization and contribute to targeting, marketing, and training activities within the industry

  • Build client relationships and deliver quality client services; oversee multiple concurrent workstreams and help clients uncover additional areas of opportunity

  • Contribute to the development of new products, solutions, and deliverables for the rapidly changing TMT industry

  • Provide mentoring and motivate diverse client engagement teams by delivering constructive onthejob coaching to team members, while fostering an innovative and inclusive teamoriented work environment

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with concentration in Business and/or Corporate Finance

  • Technology, Media, Telecom industry experience either with a consulting firm or direct within industry in an operational role

  • Minimum 7 years experience working in a large organization, professional services firm, or CPA firm

  • 3 years experience leading and managing project teams from sales to project closure

  • Strong problemsolving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment

  • Executive presence and an understanding of stakeholder / client relationship management

  • Ability to travel > 50% locally

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills

At RSM, an employee's pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $119,100 - $239,300

Individualsselected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
