Director responsible for leading IT Operations, Reliability Engineering, Infrastructure Management, Cloud Engineering, and Security Operations within highly regulated environments. This role will drive operational excellence, platform reliability, cost optimization, while ensuring solid compliance and customer centric service delivery through adoption of fundamental operational practices, reliability engineering, and technology modernization.

You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead IT Operations, Infrastructure Management, Readiness, Cloud Engineering, and SecOps/Compliance functions leveraging automation, AI tools and solid engineering practices to reduce environment variability, manage performance and drive financial efficiency
  • Critical Incidents: Provide situational critical incident response leadership, maintain internal and client communications; drive solid root cause analysis / postmortems and permanent issue resolution
  • Environment Management: Manage on-prem, hybrid, and cloud hosting environments, ensuring platform supports both fit for use and fit for purpose requirements through proper architecture, modern implementation patterns, and solid observability
  • Disaster Recovery: Develop disaster recovery plans and exercise capability in accordance with business continuity, contractual and regulatory requirements
  • Financial Stewardship: Ensure proper financial management through consistent FinOp practices, monitor and report on cost variations and drive cost optimization opportunities
  • Security: Maintain operational integrity and solid security posture through infrastructure product lifecycle management, patching, maintenance of minimum necessary access, zero trust designs, and rigorous testing
  • Strategy and Planning: Provide infrastructure and platform strategy, modernization, and optimization leadership internally and consultatively in customer facing scenarios

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of Technology leadership in a highly matrixed environment, experience with customer interactions and solid service delivery
  • 8+ years Infrastructure (on prem, hybrid & cloud) Hosting Management experience
  • 8+ years Platform Architecture & Engineering for highly regulated environments
  • 8+ years ITSM & Process Governance experience
  • 8+ years Observability & Reliability Engineering (Ops Engineering/SRE) experience
  • 8+ years of meeting Regulatory Compliance (Examples: FDIC, SOC2, SOX, PCI, FDA, HITRUST)
  • 8+ years of Financial Management & FinOps experience
  • SLA Management & Customer Engagement experience

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $134,600 to $230,800 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
