Description Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified Configuration Management (CM) Specialist with our client in Cape Canaveral, FL. Possible contract-to-direct hire after 4-6 months $33.00-$37.00 per hour (DOE Job Overview The Configuration Management (CM) Specialist follows procedures for and executes the introduction of changes to engineering documents. SolidWorks experience is highly preferred Duties & Responsibilities Supports the introduction and execution of released engineering change data and change documentation activities to ensure adherence to configuration management procedures and policies. SolidWorks experience Interacts with engineering staff to understand and implement drawing changes in accordance with configuration management processes and procedures. Maintains records in the configuration management system to ensure compliance with processes and policies. Here's what you'll get: Pay: $33.00 - $37.00 / hour. Hours: 40 hrs/Week. Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications: High School diploma or GED Minimum 3 years' experience in configuration management Minimum 3 years of experience working with tools such as SolidWorks, MS Teams, Confluence, and Jira. Preferred Skills / Qualifications: Experience with PDM Vault and Solidworks, preferred Strong organizational skills. Attention to detail and commitment to excellence. The ability to work well under deadlines. Strong digital, written, and spoken communication skills, especially in the context of working with hardware engineers and mechanical engineers.
