Role Overview

Aquent is partnering with a global eCommerce leader to find a high-energy Account Strategist to join a specialized pod of 5 on the Toys team. This is a hybrid role designed for a professional who combines the tactical, day-to-day execution strengths of a Campaign Manager with the relationship ownership and growth mindset of an Account Manager. You will act as the strategic "linchpin" between business units and creative production teams, ensuring that creativity meets commerce at a massive scale while proactively identifying opportunities to drive incremental growth.

What You'll Do
Strategic Relationship & Growth Management

  • Primary Point of Contact: Serve as the main lead for business decision-makers, cultivating robust, long-term partnerships built on trust and performance.
  • Strategic Growth: Operate with a growth mindset to proactively identify incremental opportunities to improve campaign performance and expand service offerings.
  • Conflict Resolution: Lead issue resolution efficiently when project challenges arise, maintaining a solution-oriented mindset in a fast-paced environment.

Execution & Workflow Oversight (Campaign Management)

  • End-to-End Execution: Guide teams through the tactical end-to-end creative and production process, ensuring daily tasks align with high-level strategy.
  • Strategic Planning: Manage content calendars and monitor seasonal business needs to inform and execute large-scale creative campaigns.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work effectively across marketing, media, and creative teams, thriving in a constantly changing, matrixed environment.
  • Standardization: Develop and document standardized protocols to ensure a premium, repeatable experience for all stakeholders.

Quality & Strategy

  • Creative Auditing: Collaborate with Creative Directors to audit final output, ensuring all imagery and deliverables meet brand standards and business objectives.
  • Strategic Review: Review major deliverables (strategic briefs, style guides, test imagery) to ensure they are data-driven and performance-oriented prior to final delivery.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience: 2+ years in account management, client services, or campaign management within a creative production environment or media agency.
  • Adaptability: Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
  • Tech Stack: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project management tools (e.g., Workfront, Jira).

Top 3 Must-Haves

  1. Strategic Retail Media Expertise: Proven experience driving performance and strategy on high-level retail media accounts.
  2. Hybrid Execution & Strategy: The ability to manage daily tactical campaign tasks while maintaining a high-level strategic "big picture" for the client.
  3. Client-Facing Growth Mindset: Exceptional ability to manage stakeholders and proactively identify opportunities for business expansion and performance improvement.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $44.90 to $55.44. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
