Legal Intern

IDEXX is seeking two firstyear law students (1L) to join our Legal team as a Summer Intern. This paid internship is designed to provide meaningful, handson exposure to inhouse legal practice.

• Commercial & Corporate: Supporting contract review, negotiation support, and corporate governance matters
• Compliance & Regulatory: Assisting with research and analysis related to regulatory obligations and internal policies
• Intellectual Property: Gaining exposure to trademark, copyright, and innovationrelated legal issues
• Employment & Labor: Supporting research and documentation related to employment law and workplace matters
• Litigation & Risk: Assisting with document review, research, and case support activities

Across these areas, you may:

• Conduct legal research and prepare clear, concise summaries
• Review and organize contracts, policies, and other legal materials
• Collaborate with attorneys and business partners on discrete projects
• Participate in meetings and observe how inhouse counsel advise a global business

The internship is designed to provide substantive legal experience in a collaborative, professional environment.

• Current first-year law students (1L) in good standing at an ABA-accredited law school
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Professional judgment, attention to detail, and discretion
• Interest in corporate or inhouse legal practice
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
