ERG is seeking a Quality Program Manager to develop, implement, and oversee a quality program comprising numerous and varied client programs and internal operations. This position will involve working closely with program managers, project teams, and other stakeholders to monitor, report, and enhance the quality of written deliverables, documents, and products.
This full-time role does not have a designated office location; however, proximity to the Washington, DC metropolitan area is preferred.

Job Description
  • Stand up a comprehensive QMP for an engineering consulting team consisting of 250+ technical staff, providing requisite training and outreach
  • Chair a Quality Management Committee consisting of key program representatives
  • Serve as a proactive and engaged quality resource for technical project teams, sharing best practices and quality resources
  • Assist with efforts to leverage SharePoint library architecture and Power Automate capabilities to efficiently store, classify, and retrieve deliverable documents and associated metadata
  • Identify, track, and report quality metrics across various programs
  • Identify, communicate, and respond to quality-related issues in coordination with affected Project Managers, Program Managers, Group Managers, and the ERG Corporate Quality Manager
  • Support the implementation of Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans (QASPs) for multiple contracts
  • Assist in writing, editing, and refining progress reports and other quality-focused documentation
  • Review written deliverables to ensure alignment with quality plans
  • Manage the services of a dedicated copy editor to provide document reviews and technical writing training sessions for project team members
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company standards
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency across all project stages
  • Compose and/or review quality management sections for major contract proposals
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, business, or related discipline
  • At least 8 years of quality experience, including 3 years as a Quality Program Manager
  • Experience designing and implementing organizational quality programs and leading quality oversight committees
  • Direct experience supporting engineering consulting services (rather than manufacturing or Information Technology)
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with diverse groups of stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal/written communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills
  • Familiarity with quality-assurance methodologies, tools, processes, metrics, analyses, and documentation
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO, CQA) preferred
  • Experience utilizing SharePoint, Power Automate, and the Microsoft Office suite
  • Must currently hold or be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret-level security clearance
  • Must be a U.S. citizen as this position is not eligible for Limited Access Authorizations
