The College of Health & Human Services at Western Michigan University seeks to fill a Laboratory Specialist Bronson School of Nursing position. This position is responsible for overseeing and coordinating laboratory experiences for the nursing department. The incumbent selected will perform both administrative and directed educational support and work with students, staff, faculty, and clinical agencies. They will maintain overall lab organization, which includes lab equipment maintenance repairs, cleaning, and laundry. This position also maintains inventory and ordering system for the laboratory. This position maintains relationships between vendors and community partners. The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited institution and have a licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan. They should also have experience as an RN in a hospital or clinical setting. The ideal candidate should demonstrate interest, skills, and experience working with diverse groups and be able to work irregular shifts and extended hours, including evenings and weekends.
