Job Responsibilities The Global Head Corporate Strategy will lead the strategic planning efforts across the organization, working closely with executive leadership to identify and drive key initiatives that support long-term growth. With a strong foundation in clinical research commercialization and an analytical mindset, the role assesses market trends, competitive positioning, and internal performance to develop and execute business strategies. This role contributes to inorganic growth opportunities including partnerships, acquisitions, and strategic alliances. Collaborates with global corporate communications and marketing to communicate the Syneos Health strategy to our stakeholders *Strategic Planning & Execution: Develops and leads the company's multi-year corporate strategy framework, aligning functional and business unit strategies with overall corporate objectives. *Market Intelligence & Opportunity Assessment: Conducts deep analyses of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging market opportunities in the clinical research and life sciences space. *Growth Strategy & Portfolio Optimization: Identifies and prioritizes organic and inorganic growth opportunities, including service line expansion, geographic diversification, and strategic investments. *Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Support: Supports the evaluation, diligence, and integration planning of potential M&A opportunities; collaborates with finance, legal, and operations teams throughout the deal lifecycle. *Stakeholder Reporting: Prepares strategic presentations and materials for executive leadership and the Board of Directors, summarizing recommendations, initiatives, and KPIs. Prepares strategy materials for other stakeholder groups: customers and employees in conjunction with global corporate communications and marketing. *Cross-Functional Leadership: Partners with key leaders across Clinical Operations, Commercial Operations. Business Development, Finance, Change Management and Technology to align execution with strategic objectives. *Innovation & Transformation Initiatives: Drives transformational programs that enhance scalability, efficiency, and differentiation in clinical research services in conjunction with the operational excellence team. Salary Range: The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
