Internships at Chromalloy


Our internship programs offer students and recent graduates a chance to gain real-world experience in a dynamic, high-impact setting. Internship Details: The program will be a paid internship The program is planned to be a 6-month internship. Must be able to attend the entirety of the internship.


Program Requirements: The program will be a paid internship Must attend entirety of internship from the indicated start and end date noted above Minimum 3.2 GPA. Must have completed a minimum of 3 years at an accredited university. Must be able to work full-time hours at least 3 days/week.


Daily Standard Work:



  1. Tier 5 Board


    1. Count ideas implemented
    2. Count ideas suggested
    3. Note KPI Andons per T5
    4. Update T3 Gemba Walk Accountability Board Accordingly


  2. Tier 3 Gemba Walk


    1. Scribe Top 3 Actions on RAIL To-Do List
    2. Update T3 Gemba Walk Last Visit Date
    3. Facilitate rapid response closures for RAIL items


  3. Purchase Request Entries

  1. TPM Events


    1. Developing Kamishibai Maps/Layered Audits
    2. Soliciting Critical Spare Lists from Team


  2. 5S


    1. Replace Engines overall signage (30" x 36" Fast Signs) per new standard
    2. Implement shadow board cleaning supply from 5S Supplies
    3. Standardise and prototype engine tooling shadow board
    4. Repurpose "dusty" training room, work w/ SLT


  3. Re-Establish Red Tag Process


    1. Mark out Official CSD Red Tag Zone in South Lot
    2. Establish auction process?
    3. Execution of RT disposition (scrap away, auction)


  4. T5 Maturity


    1. Deploy shipping / receiving goals and Output Tracker
    2. Deploy safety paretos
    3. Deploy Equipment KPI

    1. Based on Watkins Wellness Tour / approval from site leadership

    1. Build Method to PN List Database

  8. Braze Rework Surface Prep Tooling


    1. Support analysis of parts that can be impacted w/ training team
    2. Validate tooling diameters and sizes
    3. Create Kanban for consumables


  9. Update AutoCAD / Visio files:


    1. Facility changes per LLW
    2. Manual Value Stream Maps


  10. Flex Pipe Requests


    1. Create designs and work w/ resources to build
