How You Will Make History Here... As the Senior Manager, R&D - Snacks Bakery, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Bakery business. You'll lead innovation from early concept through commercialization, bringing new products, line extensions, LTOs, and platforms to life. By blending strong technical expertise with people leadership and crossfunctional collaboration, you'll help drive growth, profitability, and a culture of innovation across the Bakery portfolio. What You Will Do...
Lead and manage R&D activities for Bakery products from concept development through commercialization. Own the deployment of development and commercialization standards and success criteria across R&D. Drive technical decisionmaking within crossfunctional teams, partnering closely with Marketing, Process Engineering, Packaging, Regulatory, QA, Legal, Finance, and Supply Chain. Develop scalable recipes and processes, delivering technical specifications and documentation to ensure smooth operational rollouts. Identify technical risks and proactively develop and implement mitigation strategies. Apply experimental design to optimize recipes and manufacturing processes. Champion bestinclass product development by leveraging sensory protocols, process control strategies, and quality assurance practices. Foster an innovationfocused culture by introducing new ideas for products, quality improvements, and productivity gains. Manage, coach, and mentor a team of scientists while serving as a role model for leadership, professionalism, and positive change. Contribute to Bakery Product Development budget planning and analysis.

Crossfunctional partners across Marketing, Master Planning, Process Engineering, Packaging, QA, Regulatory, Legal, Finance, and Supply Chain. Business and technical leaders focused on driving Bakery growth, quality, and innovation.
What You Bring To The Table... (Must Have)
Bachelors in Food Science, Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. 8+ years of R&D experience in the Consumer Products industry. Deep technical expertise in fresh bakery recipes and manufacturing processes. Proven experience leading new product development and commercialization efforts. Strong people leadership skills, with experience managing and developing technical teams. Ability to assess technical risk and lead teams through complex decisionmaking. Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills across functions. Strong analytical thinking, creative problemsolving abilities, and a drive for results.
It Would Be Great If You Have... (Nice To Have)
Masters degree Experience across consumer testing, QA, productivity initiatives, and technical service. A strong understanding of the snack food and fresh bakery competitive landscape and emerging trends. Demonstrated success setting technical strategy while balancing business priorities. Experience thriving in a fastpaced, evolving business environment and leading through change.
Compensation and Benefits: The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between $148,600-$213,700
Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
