Job Description

EDSI/EE Senior Business Analyst ((Engine Design and System Integration) & Engineering Excellence)

We are searching for an experienced Senior Business Analyst who can work with a variety of teams to gather important company data and compile it into excel reports and PowerPoint slides so department and project managers and executives can use data to make decisions on staffing needs. We need someone who can take charge of a project and deliver results that will assist the EDSI (Engine Design & Systems Integration/EE) organizations in achieving their Financial/Staffing goals. Position involves preparing and presenting monthly and quarterly plan vs actuals manpower requirements and variances to program leads and management. Our ideal candidate must have the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, have good attention to detail and can translate business data into digestible information that improves departmental processes.

Responsibilities and Duties

Understand where business data resides, learn how to access the data from various internal company platforms (such as SAP, or Business Warehouse, Eoutsourcing, Qlik, Web EVM and other ad hoc tools) and produce various reports along with analysis to meet departmental managers" and executive needs.

Prepare monthly program staffing plan vs actual variance reports utilizing Excel and pivot tables and present PowerPoint presentations to various Chief Systems Engineers and executives at monthly staffing reviews.

Coordinate with Org Cams (Cost Account Mgrs) and Chief Systems Engineers (CSE"s) to validate if SAP, Web EVM, and Dassian requirements accurately reflect EDSI/EE staffing requirements and help summarize program staffing variances. Work with teams to help drive any Planning adjustments required to ensure accurate staffing data is being reported

Coordinate with department managers and Finance Manager to review labor charging and Overhead items and expenses, Outsourcing actuals and more and help address any general business issue and questions

Help determine and document user requirements for business processes and utilize standard work for future projects. Develop plans to make internal processes more efficient.

Manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously and meet established deadlines.

Ad-Hoc reporting in support of key initiatives and executive report outs.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor"s degree in Business, Management, Finance or Engineering (with Business Concentration

4 to 8+ years of associated work experience

Superior skills in MS Excel (Working with Pivot Tables, custom formulas,)

Strong knowledge of PowerPoint, SAP, Business Warehouse and Qlik

Familiar with E-Outsourcing, SharePoint and is a plus

Familiarity of PW Project Management processes and EVMS processes & systems

Ability to work with cross-functional teams to drive success

Detailed analytical ability with large data sets

Demonstrated ability in using computer skills to query large data sets and efficiently create customized reports (SAP, Qlik, Business Warehouse, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)

Strong ability to clearly communicate within all levels

Good communication skills and presentation skills
