Position Summary The Network Data Analyst is an entry level hourly position that supports the performance and operations of the Amazon Air network by collecting, organizing, and analyzing key operational data. In this role, you will help track how the network is performing each day and assist in producing reports that support decision-making for airline partners and company leadership. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who enjoys working with data, learning operational processes, and developing analytical skills. You will gain hands-on experience with real-world network operations, performance reporting, and data analysis while working closely with operations, accounting, and leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities
Network Performance Tracking
Collect and track daily network performance data such as flight delays, flight segments, aircraft utilization, and operational events.
Help maintain daily tracking spreadsheets that monitor the overall performance of the network.
Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports that summarize performance trends.
Support the team by identifying patterns in data that help improve operational decision-making.
Data Accuracy & Reconciliation
Compile and review operational data to ensure accuracy and consistency across reports.
Compare and reconcile information between internal records and partner-reported data.
Assist the accounting and management teams by providing reliable, well-organized data.
Reporting & Data Management
Maintain spreadsheets and tracking tools used for:
Network performance metrics
Flight schedules
Spare aircraft usage
Operational penalties or chargeable events
Financial tracking related to network performance
Organize digital files and documentation to ensure information is easy to access and audit-ready.
Support the creation of reports and dashboards that help leadership monitor network performance.
Operational & Team Support
Help distribute daily and weekly performance reports to airline partners.
Provide general operational support to the Amazon Air network team as needed.
Assist with administrative tasks such as document preparation, correspondence, filing, and phone coverage.
Provide backup support for the AGS Supervisor when required.
Qualifications & Skills
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, lookups).
Basic familiarity with Power BI or interest in learning data visualization tools.
Strong organizational and data management skills.
Core Skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with data accurately.
Analytical mindset and curiosity for understanding operational performance.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
