As a Nutritionist you will assist our residents in reaching their nutritional and medical goals. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Avantara Libertyville by evaluating, monitoring, and documenting the nutritional status and needs of our residents, performing nutrition assessments, Identifying and providing nutritional counseling to meet the cultural needs of our residents, interviewing residents regarding their nutritional preferences and providing education to facility staff. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they receive a pleasant and safe dining experience.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an associates degree in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics, Nutritional Sciences or similar filed and a valid, unencumbered State of Illinois Nutritionist License. One (1) year of experience as a Licensed Nutritionist is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
