Position Highlights:

  • Position: Obstetrician/Gynecologist Hospitalist
  • Location: Primary location: Arlington Heights IL, Northwest Community Hospital (NCH) probable expansion in to additional location at Evanston, Edward, and Elmhurst Hospital.
  • Full Time .75 FTE to begin. Future FTE increase probable
  • Pay Range: $220,825 (10th Percentile) - $345,000 (75th Percentile) - As a valued member of an integrated team, your placement within the pay range is dependent on a variety of factors, including but not limited to FTE, prior experience, certifications, degrees, subspecialties, projected volumes, and quality performance.

Endeavor Health is expanding its OBGYN Hospitalist program. Endeavor's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology has many distinguished faculty and attending physicians and continues to focus on growth. As the principal academic affiliate of the Pritzker School of Medicine at The University of Chicago, academic appointment is available to qualified candidates.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated, team-oriented, and board certified/board eligible. Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Supervision of all clinical care for patients in Labor and Delivery, Antenatal and Postpartum areas
  • Emergency Department evaluations, requested inpatient consultations from other departments, surgical procedures and post-operative care.
  • Providing overall leadership and oversight for all activities on Labor and Delivery, working in collaboration with certified nurse midwives, nursing, fellows, Ob-Gyn residents, medical students and other learners. Bedside teaching of medical learners is an important expectation of the position.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education Level

  • Graduate of an accredited and recognized medical school required.

Minimum Licensure Requirements

  • Eligible for medical licensing in the State of Illinois.

Minimum Certification Requirements

  • Board certification/Board eligible in area of expertise.

Minimum Work Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in area of expertise in OBGYN Hospital Medicine preferred.
