Salesforce Administrator

Under the direction of the Technical Solutions Architect, the Goldschmidt Collective Salesforce Administrator will provide support related to the administration and usage of the Salesforce CRM system. The Salesforce Administrator will work with the Technical Solutions Architect to support the ongoing development of our Salesforce deployment. The incumbent will apply Salesforce knowledge and skills.to resolve a variety of moderately complex issues, and will work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for executing day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and improvement of our CRM platform. Additionally, the incumbent will use their knowledge of the Salesforce Lightning platform and declarative tools to support the Technical Solutions Architect in maintaining the Salesforce configuration by working with custom objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity. This individual should be highly organized, capable of working independently and possess excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality.
Key Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities
Administer and support Salesforce systems, including user management, security controls, reports, dashboards, workflows, and routine configuration. Stay current with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices; assist with system upgrades, critical updates, and action alerts. Configure and enhance the platform using declarative tools (fields, page layouts, Lightning Flows, Quick Actions, Macros), addressing business needs and reducing technical debt through Lightning solutions. Design, develop, test, and maintain moderately complex software, scripts, and system enhancements; support release and deployment activities, including pre- and post-deployment testing. Identify and improve systems, processes, and procedures; document configurations and create training materials. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues; provide end-user support and escalate complex matters as needed. Support database and data management efforts, including normalized data structures, metadata capture, and data quality/cleaning initiatives.
Department Description The Goldschmidt Collective (TGC) which includes the National Clinician Consultation Center (NCCC) and the Reproductive Health Hotline (ReproHH) at the Department of Family & Community Medicine provides immediate, state-of-the-art HIV, viral hepatitis, substance use and reproductive and sexual health clinical gudance to health care providers (physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists and other health care professionals) across the country through seven telephone and online consultation services:
- HIV/AIDS Management Consultation Service (Warmline)
- Post-Exposure Prophylaxis Consultation Service (PEPline)
- Perinatal HIV Consultation and Referral Service
- Hepatitis C Consultation Service
- Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis Consultation Service (PrEPline)
- Substance Use Warmline
- Reproductive Health Hotline
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related area and one year of relevant experience and / or equivalent experience / training
- Knowledge relating to the design and development of Salesforce software. Basic knowledge of Salesforce security features
- Demonstrated experience with Salesforce database administration
