The Production Accounting Clerk serves as the bridge between operations and finance, ensuring accurate material tracking, job costing, documentation, and billing support. This position plays a critical role in maintaining data integrity across production and accounting systems while supporting customer specifications and internal financial reporting.

Here's what we're looking for.

• Previous experience inaccounting support, production administration, job costing, or clerical rolespreferred.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Proficient inMicrosoft Exceland comfortable working with shared platforms such asSharePoint.
• Strong data entry and documentation skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with production and accounting teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Production Proofing & Documentation

• Prepare and maintain material usage forms, ensuring accurate data entry to relieve material inventory
• Review production paperwork to confirm correct product styles, materials, and labels are aligned with customer sales orders
• Monitor active production runs and verify documentation accuracy
• Update and maintain production worksheets to track job run times
• Manage and maintain records within SharePoint
• Prepare and update required documentation for shipping and billing processes

Accounting - Billing & Accounts Receivable Support

• Prepare and process customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Update and maintain the Accounting Workflow
• Assist with accounting entries related to material transfers
• Support monitoring of customer storage cycles to ensure billing accuracy

Job Costing & Data Management

• Review production proofing documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Update job cost and labor tracking worksheets
• Enter and maintain production run data within accounting systems
• Maintain and update customer databases
• Assist with reviewing and analyzing job cost worksheets to support financial and operational reporting
