• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ years of manufacturing experience
• Able to lift 35 lbs.
• Basic math skills
• Detail-oriented
• Mechanical aptitude

Responsibilities:

• Inspect etched work for depth of etching, uniformity, and defects, using gauges, fingers, and calipers.
• Examine sketches, diagrams, samples, blueprints, or photos to decide how designs are to be etched, cut, or engraved onto workpieces.
• Analyze engraved areas to see if the mark is visible & ensure numbers are in sequential order.
• Engrave and print patterns, designs, etchings, and trademarks onto flat or curved surfaces of a wide variety of metal and plastic items.
• Use computer Software to design patterns for engraving.
• Adjust depths and sizes of cuts by adjusting the heights of worktables.
• Measure and compute dimensions of lettering, designs, or patterns to be engraved.
• Examine engravings for quality of cut, burrs, rough spots, and irregular or incomplete engraving.
• Print proofs or examine designs to verify the accuracy of engraving, and rework engraving as required.
• Position and clamp workpieces, plates, or rollers into holding fixtures.
• Guide the laser pointer over the template to duplicate designs - ensuring all text and logo are in the same spot on each part.
• Remove completed workpieces and place them in the tray in sequential serial numbered order.
