Location Alexandria, MN

Pay Rate: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Shift: 1st shift

Join a production team where mechanical assembly and electrical wiring come together to create fully functional systems built to perform. As an Electrical Mechanical Assembler, you'll interpret diagrams, assemble components, route wiring, and ensure every build meets quality and safety standards. If you're detail-driven, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working with electrical components, this position offers steady work and meaningful impact.

These are the qualifications that matter.



  • High School diploma required; Associate's degree in a related field plus assembly experience preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read and properly use measuring instruments and small hand tools
  • Basic shop math skills (rounding, positive/negative numbers, metric system)
  • Blueprint reading skills, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and electronics terminology
  • Ability to read CAD drawings and operate CAD software
  • Computer proficiency with the ability to learn company-specific software
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to interact professionally with internal and external customers
  • Excellent prioritization, time management, organization, proactive decision-making, and attention to detail
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours per shift and stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or climb as needed
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 30% of the time, which may include any day of the week
  • Must obtain and maintain a valid passport (cost reimbursed)

Key Responsibilities

Own the Build Process from Start to Finish



  • Assemble mechanical and/or electrical components according to detailed specifications and prints
  • Log issues and follow established corrective action workflows
  • Maintain tools and work areas with a strong focus on safety and organization
  • Demonstrate independence, adaptability, and strong problem-solving skills throughout the build process


Ensure Quality of Purpose-Built Equipment



  • Verify build quality by checking parts and assemblies against blueprints and standards
  • Cycle equipment during the build process to identify performance or design issues
  • Conduct machine testing and troubleshooting to ensure optimal functionality
  • Drive progress to meet weekly production goals and deliver projects on time


Lead Projects and Support Customer Experience



  • Build trust and maintain positive working relationships with internal teams and customers
  • Serve as the primary internal contact for assigned projects, ensuring schedules are met and proactively communicating any delays or build challenges
  • Travel for machine installation, startup, and customer training
  • Support knowledge sharing and training of fellow team members
