Position Summary
This position will serve as a Senior Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator within the Medicine-Allergy & Immunology. The Senior Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator develops professional relationships with patients, families, staff, and outside agencies to independently coordinate and provide high-quality research services. They use an in-depth knowledge of disease processes to also complete research study tasks such as medication administration and recording study data. They are involved with updating and revising study processes to reach study goals.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina and two years of experience in the area of specialization.
Management Preferences
Experience working with clinical research trials
Experience using the Epic electronic medical record system
Experience providing face to face patient care in a research setting
Ability to demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to work effectively and professionally with diverse populations
Willingness to work independently and as part of a team, using sound judgment to update and improve study processes
