Job Summary Leads, manages, and coordinates all phases of self-perform construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Drives project success by overseeing schedules, budgets, quality, safety, and team performance. Builds strong client relationships and contributes to business development initiatives. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, design professionals, and industry organizations to support business growth.

Lead, mentor, and coach high-performance project teams, providing regular feedback and completing timely performance appraisals.

Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to secure new work for the business unit.

Ensure compliance with ethics, legal, and regulatory requirements across all projects.

Lead risk assessment, contract negotiation, and fee and pricing decisions.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously from preconstruction through closeout.

Oversee the creation and implementation of master project schedules.

Provide financial oversight for all projects, including budget management and cost control.

Support adoption and utilization of company initiatives and construction technologies.

Administer and enforce the Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) program.

Enforce project safety protocols and promote a culture of safety.

Engage in community initiatives and leverage company resources to meet business unit goals.
Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Minimum of 18 years of relevant construction experience.

Comprehensive knowledge of construction cost management, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, engineering principles, and accounting practices.

Demonstrated ability to identify and secure new business opportunities.

Knowledge of regional construction markets and proven sales and closing skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Advanced presentation skills.

Ability to read, interpret, and apply contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules.

Experience implementing technologies such as Building Information Models (BIM) and Lean methodologies.

Proven leadership, interpersonal, and team management skills.
Physical Requirements

Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and negotiate construction work areas.

Visual abilities including close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Physical ability to handle objects, tools, or controls; sit, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment

Regularly works on construction sites with exposure to moving mechanical parts, elevated locations, airborne particles, outdoor weather, and electrical hazards.
