Senior Software Engineer

Join the Azure Local team to create platform software that powers Azuremanaged infrastructure across a variety of customer environments, including specialized systems and configurations. You'll build capabilities for secure provisioning, lifecycle operations, and fleetscale visibility using standard Azure interfaces, and contribute to experiences that support both virtual machines and Kubernetes-based application platforms. Working across partner ecosystems and internal stakeholders, you'll help deliver a consistent, highquality Azure Local experience while advancing security and reliability at scale.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
  • OR related technical field
  • AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • OR equivalent experience.
• Experience in data structures and algorithms, with problem solving, debugging and analytical skills.
• Experience with cloud native technologies like Kubernetes, Containers, Docker, etc.

Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
