Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a busy retail and mall location, where you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, remain highly visible, and respond to security-related concerns with calm, professional communication. You will document activity, support store teams and guests, and help reduce incidents through presence and teamwork. This post requires a Texas Level III Armed Certification.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail grocery environment.
• Perform armed patrol duties throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, receiving areas, and perimeter to help to deter theft, disorderly conduct, and other unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalating confrontations, coordinating with store leadership, and contacting law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.
• Control access to restricted and back-of-house areas by verifying credentials, monitoring delivery and vendor activity, and documenting unusual activity according to post orders.
• Complete required reports and logs, communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives, and support incident investigations using available tools such as cameras and/or access systems.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3+ Years' Combined Law Enforcement/Corrections/Military OR 5+ Years Armed Security Experience.
• Hold a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
