Job Description




As a Security Officer - Part-Time Overnight Patrol in Webster, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will monitor grounds and key areas through routine patrols, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and support employees and visitors with clear communication and customer service. You will document observations, respond to concerns, and work with your team in an agile, reliable, and innovative way, always acting with integrity and a people-first mindset.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or public emergency services when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Control access at entry points by monitoring visitor and vendor arrivals, confirming authorization, issuing directions, and documenting entries and/or exits according to site procedures.
  • Complete detailed written reports and shift logs, including incident documentation and observations during patrols, and communicate updates to the supervisor and/or oncoming officer.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
