Security Officer - Roaming Site Patrol

As a Security Officer - Roaming Site Patrol in Sunnyvale, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will assist guests and store teams with clear communication, observe and report concerns, and support access points as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, tenants, and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout retail areas, common spaces, back-of-house corridors, and exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entrances, loading or receiving areas, and restricted spaces; assist with access control by verifying credentials, directing traffic flow, and/or guiding visitors to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including addressing disturbances, supporting loss prevention efforts as requested, and coordinating with site management and/or local responders when needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations in written reports and/or electronic logs, and communicate notable conditions to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
