Digital Marketing Assistant

Location: Mt. Sterling, IL or Chesterfield, MO

Reports To: Supplier Marketing Manager

Wage Range: $17.15 to $25.73 per hour, plus bonus opportunity

As a Digital Marketing Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with the execution of marketing projects for our digital marketing platforms and programs. The Digital Marketing Assistant works closely with the digital marketing team to ensure a superior user experience, drive engagement, and increase conversion.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Successfully schedule and execute ad material and email marketing projects.
• Manage and audit sponsored search terms and ads along with execution of testing and new concepts.
• Collaborate with Supplier Marketing Specialists for the creation of content on specific marketing features.
• Interface directly with internal and 3rd party applications to execute marketing campaigns and ideas.
• Work with internal departments who have business partner marketing initiatives to ensure alignment.
• Collaborate with the ecommerce merchandising team at Dot to ensure collaboration and growth
• Monitor trends and best practices as it relates to marketing communications.
• Make recommendations on standards, techniques and approaches to increase efficiency and performance.
• Apply lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Strong prioritization and project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects at once.
• Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well both independently and as a team.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment.

YOU MAY ALSO HAVE

• College degree or comparable Dot experience.
• Experience in digital marketing, marketing, or communications.
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, HTML, CSS or other languages.
• Experience with CRM platform Salesforce.

ROLE SPECIFICS

• Occasional overnight travel to other facilities and the ability to travel independently as needed without restrictions, via plane, auto, train or other transportation to meet the responsibilities of the job
