Troubleshoot problems to maintain operational efficiency and quality. Retrieve and record related production data and communicate effectively with coworkers to maintain production flow and respond to changes in production schedule. Essential Function and Responsibilities:
Reporting Relationship: This position reports directly to the Frontline Leaders Education/Experience: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential functions. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform essential functions. Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous blow-molding, plastics experience is preferred. Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Interpersonal Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills are required. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Incumbent must possess effective teamwork and interpersonal skills. Technical Skills: Incumbent must be capable of learning and successfully applying SAP Mii system and Customer Profiles. Must be able to quickly grasp operation of Two-Step machines and related equipment and possess the ability to troubleshoot problems through the plastic blow molding process. Incumbent must be capable of completing two-step levels programs within acceptable time frames. Other: Incumbent must possess a high degree of attention to detail and to production flow. Must be capable of working safely and effectively in a fast-paced, high-quality manufacturing environment. Incumbent must have the ability to interpret and carry out instructions, including Work Instructions, Master Process Book and SOP's. Must be able to work a 12-hour shift schedule. Incumbent must be willing to demonstrate schedule flexibility as business needs require as well as for coverage for vacations and other absences. Physical: Must be capable of standing and walking on production floor for length of production shift with standard breaks. Will be required to lift/carry up to 60 lbs. occasionally. Must occasionally squat, bend, kneel, reach, etc., in order to carry out essential functions of the position. Must be able to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) for entirety of shift.
