Salesforce Business Systems Analyst - Remote - Software Engineer III

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Salesforce Business Systems Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will help design, build and support solutions on the Salesforce platform that solve business problems and improve user experience. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, administrators, and business stakeholders to customize and extend Salesforce capabilities through both declarative and programmatic tools.

Responsibility
1. Collaborate with business stakeholders and project teams to understand business requirements and translate them into Salesforce solutions.
2. Analyze and document business processes, workflows, and system requirements. Create detailed documentation such as functional specifications, use cases, and user stories.
3. Perform impact analysis on system changes, including downstream integrations and analytics.
4. Work with architects and engineers to create technical solutions that align with business requirements.
5. Investigate and analyze issues reported by users, identify root causes, and propose solutions.
6. Maintain data integrity through validation rules, duplicate management, and governance controls.
7. Support reporting and dashboard strategy to enable business insights and decision-making.
8. Assist in the implementation of new systems or system enhancements. Provide support during the rollout phase and address any issues that arise.
9. Develop user documentation and conduct training sessions to help end-users understand and effectively use new systems.
10. Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies. Propose improvements to existing processes and systems.

Qualifications
1. Salesforce administrator and/or developer certifications
2. Minimum 4 years working directly in Salesforce. Life sciences industry experience preferred.
3. Proficiency in Salesforce administration tasks, including user management, security settings, and data management.
4. Thorough understanding of Salesforce automation tools such as Flow.
5. Exposure to Salesforce programmatic tools such as Apex, Javascript and SOQL.
6. Knowledge of Salesforce data model, objects, and relationships.
7. The ability to analyze business processes and requirements and translate them into effective Salesforce solutions.
8. Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions.
9. Attention to detail, good time management, and the ability to work independently.
10. Strong communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
11. Collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and end-users.

We take geographic location into account when determining base salary to ensure equitable and competitive compensation.
