Reporting into our Chief Data and Engineering Officer, the Vice President of Software Engineering, Clinical will play a pivotal role in defining and driving the company's clinical technology direction during a critical phase of growth and transformation. This leader will be accountable for establishing a clear engineering vision, setting execution priorities, and translating strategy into results through a focused, outcomedriven roadmap.

This role requires a handson, decisive engineering leader who thrives in complexity and ambiguity and is energized by fixing hard problems quickly. The VP will partner closely with Product, Data Science, AI, and other crossfunctional leaders to bring clarity where it doesn't exist today, accelerate delivery, and ensure technology meaningfully advances customer and business outcomes. Success in this role is defined not by process, but by impact, speed, and the ability to turn vision into working software.

The VP will build, lead, and evolve highperforming engineering teams, strengthen technical and architectural foundations, and reset how engineering delivers-at an innovator's pace. This leader will balance rapid execution with thoughtful simplification, leverage metrics to drive accountability, and lead through trust, credibility, and a relentless focus on results.

To be qualified for this position you:

  • Proven engineering leadership at scale, leading complex software organizations through change, ambiguity, and growth
  • Demonstrated ability to drive execution at high velocity-moving teams from strategy to delivery without overreliance on process
  • Strong technical and architectural judgment, with the confidence to challenge teams, reset direction, and simplify overly complex systems
  • Experience operating in messy, inherited environments, including fragmented platforms, unclear roadmaps, and duplicated capabilities
  • Track record of building and leading highperforming engineering leaders and teams, while holding a high bar for accountability
  • Comfort making decisions with incomplete information and calling clear shots on priorities and outcomes
  • Strong crossfunctional partnership skills, especially with Product, Data, and AI leaders, to translate vision into working software
  • Outcomedriven mindset, using metrics and customer impact-not ceremony-to guide decisions
  • Experience in healthcare, financial services, or other complex regulated domains
  • Background in platform, data, or connectivityfocused architectures
  • Experience leading engineering organizations through complexity, fragmentation, and performance challenges to achieve stronger alignment and delivery
  • Experience leading and operating cloudnative engineering environments (AWS), with the ability to assess, simplify, and realign architectures at scale

  • Establishing and owning a focused, outcomedriven roadmap, prioritizing delivery over process.
  • Leading highvelocity execution, ensuring meaningful customer and business outcomes are delivered consistently.
  • Providing strong architectural leadership, simplifying misaligned systems and eliminating duplicated capabilities.
  • Owning technical stewardship of cloudnative (AWS) platforms, ensuring scalability, clarity, and speed.
  • Building, leading, and developing a highperforming engineering leadership teams with a strong accountability culture.
  • Evaluating and evolving organizational structure to improve alignment, collaboration, and delivery.
  • Partnering closely with Product, Data, and AI leaders to translate strategy into working software.
  • Setting and reinforcing standards for technical excellence, decisionmaking, and ownership.
  • Leading through trust, credibility, and results-driving execution in complex, ambiguous environments.

Video Camera Usage:
