Financial Control & Reporting Associate

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Financial Control & Reporting Associate for a contract position with a Major Financial Services Firm located in New York, NY. This role is hybrid requiring 3 days onsite. Pay range: $50-55 per Hour W2.

This role is part of the Global Financial Advisory Finance team and supports firmwide financial planning, reporting, and strategic initiatives across various regions and senior leadership. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting, with a high level of professionalism and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare quarterly Board materials and related analyses
• Support Investor Relations with Q&A materials
• Build and maintain financial models, dashboards, and management reports
• Deliver monthly regional presentations for Senior Management
• Conduct monthly non-compensation expense analysis and cash forecasting
• Support quarterly budgeting and forecasting cycles
• Manage weekly revenue forecasting processes
• Partner with business leadership and the IT team on transformation and strategic initiatives
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis for Senior Management

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting
• Strong analytical, data management, and problem-solving capabilities
• High standards of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
• High level of professionalism with the ability to engage effectively with senior leadership globally
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present well
• Self-motivated and able to work both independently and within a team
• Willingness to work outside a traditional 9am-5pm schedule as required
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with Power BI and AI

Desired skills:

• Experience in accounting or financial services
• Experience with SAP and/or Analysis for Office
