NYTech's College of Osteopathic Medicine seeks an Administrative Assistant, Academic Affairs located at the Jonesboro, Arkansas campus.



Responsibilities

    Responsible for assisting supervisors and department staff with routine duties.
  • Answering department phone lines; transferring calls as necessary.
  • Take meeting minutes and transcribe dictation.
  • Schedule and coordinate calendar and special events.
  • Maintaining files and databases.
  • Processing invoices.
  • Monitoring budget.
  • Oversee exam proctoring staff and coordinate logistical support to ensure smooth exam-day operations.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the Office of Academic Affairs and the Director of Accessibility Services, ensuring full compliance with approved student testing accommodations.
  • Liaison between students and faculty, answer questions and solve problems when needed.
  • General administrative duties as assigned by supervisor.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, 1-2 years Administrative/Office experience or associate's degree or high school diploma with applicable related experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, computer and organizational skills
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with organizing virtual meetings (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.).
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds (Occasional package deliveries/water orders, etc.).
