Data Analyst II

University of Central Florida
life insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, sick time
United States, Florida, Orlando
Feb 20, 2026

Center for Higher Education Innovation:

The Center for Higher Education Innovation (CHEI) serves the Division of Student Success and Well-Being (SSWB) at the University of Central Florida primarily by helping staff help students. The Center's mission is to accelerate student success and well-being at UCF and beyond.

We advance this mission by helping staff and leaders do their work in ways that better support students. We focus on the practical realities of student support work, acknowledging that complexity, competing priorities, and limited capacity can make even strong ideas difficult to carry out.

We are not a primarily student-facing unit. While the Center pilots innovative approaches to student-facing success strategies, our team acts behind-the-scenes to help leadership and staff conduct, analyze, and present the work. Our team does not replace the expertise of leadership and staff. Instead, we work alongside partners to strengthen how student support happens by helping teams navigate complexity and use data and tools in ways that are practical and sustainable.

In practice, CHEI supports leaders and staff by:

  • Helping teams shape goals and strategies for change.

  • Supporting the design and implementation of improvements that are realistic.

  • Ensuring that processes and learning from the work are captured and shared, not lost.

Our goal is to accelerate student success and well-being by helping staff and leaders create capacity-building and sustainable solutions.
