Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Business Manager role focusing on:

  • Monitoring monthly financial performance for clinics to ensure appropriate allocation of expenses, funds and FTEs
  • Design processes to enhance revenue and charge capture.
  • Develops strategic business plans in association with leadership for short term and long-term goals.
  • Participates in procurement of Capital and minor equipment as well as address issues
  • Analyze clinic workflows to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services
  • Assist in adhering to healthcare regulations and accreditation standards as required
  • Direct supervision of social work, dietitian, cancer registry, co supervision for genetics
  • Designs and leads new programming and growth initiatives systemwide
  • Assists marketing and public relations in promotion of programs through develop of an annual plan
  • Develops, implements, and evaluates clinic policies, goals, and objectives to ensure delivery of quality care, efficient operations and compliance to regulations of all regulatory agencies so that the Mercy Health System's Mission, Vision and Values are fulfilled.
  • Participates in the development and modifications of clinic programs.
  • Interprets and enforces department and institution policies.
  • Participates in the development and monitoring of clinic budget.
  • Participates in appropriate clinic and Health System committees.
  • Investigates and resolves complaints or refers unusual problems to superior.
  • Works closely with Director in developing and implementing strategic policies.
  • Maintains continuing development and implementation of clinic QA and I program.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.

Master's degree in Business Administration or Health Care Administration preferred. Three to five years of pervious group practice management experience.

Certification and Licensure

N/A

Skills and Abilities

Excellent interpersonal/communication skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong planning and organizational skills.

Computer experience.
