Overview

The purpose of this job is to provide support of the daily activities of the President of Financial Services through a variety of administrative, marketing and compliance functions. This position will serve as administrative liaison to those in and outside of the company, particularly with customers of the Financial Services department.



Responsibilities

    Coordinate/Organize/Manage President's office including calendars, appointments, correspondence, and travel.
  • Service the President's book of business
  • Create documents and presentation packages for the President's clients and prospects.
  • Create reports and presentation packages that will be used to communicate department goals, plans, and accomplishments to Senior Management and to Compliance & Risk Management committees.
  • Serve as a Liaison between the President and Financial Advisors.
  • Coordinate the firm's Marketing efforts with LPL's Marketing and Regulatory Review team along with Trustmark's Marketing department to ensure proper regulatory compliance.
  • Develops, implements, and monitors special projects focused on achieving Financial Services' goals.
  • In the absence of the Financial Services Operations Manager, serves as backup to produce month end compensation reports and resolve client service issues.
  • Assist with a broad range of administrative functions that support Financial Services activities such as Sales Assistant back up, general Financial Advisor support, program referral management.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Must have experience in working with top-level executives in high stress/fast paced environment
  • Must have a minimum of five years of experience in a related business position
  • Knowledge of products and services offered by the securities industry
  • Excellent Customer service skills
  • Knowledge of Financial Service Compliance Requirements
  • Interpersonal skills including diplomacy, tact and persistence
  • Ability to provide excellent internal and external customer service
  • Must be organized, able to prioritize, multi-task and manage time efficiently
  • Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Must have excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Must maintain the utmost confidentiality and professionalism
  • Must be proficient in the use of software programs, such as Microsoft Office Suite
  • Securities industry licensing SIE, Series 7, 63 & 65 or 66 preferred

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: Must be able to sit for long periods of time and use computer keyboard and/or mouse, while viewing computer screens.
