  • Demonstrated experience designing and operating networks for global, 24x7 operations.

It would also be beneficial if you had...

  • Infrastructure as Code experience (e.g. Terraform, Ansible, vendor APIs).

  • VoIP/Unified Communications architecture experience.

  • Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.

  • ITIL or similar service management framework familiarity.

As the Global Network Manager, you will be responsible for...

Engineering Excellence & Documentation

  • Elevating engineering maturity through consistent documentation, design artifacts, and reviews

  • Embedding failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) into network design and change processes

  • Reducing single points of knowledge and dependency on informal relationships

Project & Delivery Management

  • Leading complex global network initiatives from concept through operational handoff

  • Ensuring projects are delivered predictably with clear scope, milestones, and risk management

  • Partnering with project management resources while maintaining engineering accountability

Operational Readiness & Transition

  • Definition and enforcement of formal handoff processes from engineering to operations teams

  • Ensuring runbooks, monitoring, escalation paths, and support models are in place prior to go-live

  • Designing networks that are operable in a 24x7 global support environment

Vendor & Contract Strategy

  • Providing technical leadership for SD-WAN renewal or replacement initiatives

  • Evaluation and influence of vendor selection, contract negotiations, and service performance

  • Ensuring vendor solutions align with architectural and security standards
