Clariant is currently seeking a Deepwater Account Representative to support the Oil Services segment of our Care Chemicals business unit. The Account Representative delivers expert technical service operations to oil and gas customers, ensuring safe execution of service tasks, trials, and troubleshooting in accordance with established standards. This role drives customer satisfaction by achieving performance KPIs, providing technical recommendations, and building strong customer relationships. They support business growth by capturing customer insights and opportunities, while developing and training the Technical Field Service team to maintain service excellence and promote a strong safety culture. Responsibilities



  • Accountable for safely executing service operations at expert level including trials in line with given standards and defined scope
  • Execute defined service tasks self-responsibly while adhering to given work instructions
  • Support the creation and improvement of work instructions
  • Document and report defined scope of work, conduct KPI and performance reviews with customers
  • Create and communicate performance reports and recommendations to customers
  • Troubleshoot service situations and handle objections professionally
  • Achieve customer satisfaction and ensure all business and service activities meet/exceed customer KPIs
  • Capture and share customer insights and opportunities for new projects to support organic growth
  • Extend customer relationships at all technical and operational levels
  • Ensure adherence to given standards and promote a safety culture
  • Ensure implementation of competency framework and on-time execution of required trainings
  • Onboard and train Technical Field Service team members



Requirements



  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Chemicals, Chemical Engineering, or Petroleum Engineering (OR Chemical Technician or Oil and Gas Technician certification with proven experience)
  • 5-10 years of experience in the oil and gas field and/or laboratory
  • Advanced technical competency and training including advanced product and application know-how
