The Thomas Entrepreneurship Hub helps startups and early stage businesses succeed so they create new jobs.
Primary Purpose of Position
The Administrative Support Associate provides administrative support to the Thomas Entrepreneurship HUB professional staff, HUB tenants, and client of the HUB.
Job Description
Public Contact and Communication: Create an inviting atmosphere in the office and serve as the initial contact either by phone or in person for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Provide information about the office, organizations, and events. Schedule meetings and appointments for HUB staff.
Administrative Support: Process all requests: budget transfers/reports and purchases utilizing the Banner system, personnel information and verification, campus wide information/announcements, and overall student and staff/faculty inquiries. Reconcile purchasing cards. Collect and deposit funds. Order all supplies and process all print requests. Update and maintain the Thomas Entrepreneurship Hub website. Create reports, flyers, banners, posters, table tents, envelopes, mailing labels, memos, certificates, newsletters etc. using Microsoft Office. Update HUB calendar with office events.
