Reporting to the Manager, Configuration, the QNXT Application Lead is responsible for main activities. These activities include maintenance and support of the QNXT application. This support includes troubleshooting of application issues, review and maintenance of application release notes, collaborating with vendors to raise defects and enhancements, and working to support application upgrades. They are also responsible for application configuration to include project planning, execution, and implementation of changes to our business applications. Also, they will ensure accurate and efficient configuration to business applications. Also, you have expertise to analyze application configuration to ensure it is efficient in setup and functionality

Please note that while SFHP supports a hybrid work environment, you are required to be onsite and in-office a minimum of 4 days per month. This is a hybrid position, based in our Downtown San Francisco office.

Salary: $103,000 - $144,144 per year

WHAT YOU WILL DO:



  • Perform implementation and configuration activities including prototyping, analysis, system configuration, operational implementation and process documentation.
  • Follow SFHP's Change Management/Release Management Procedures, including submitting appropriate change requests and producing required documentation to support changes.
  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise across multiple modules in QNXT and module integration.
  • Support and lead configuration team members on complex changes and projects.
  • Be a liaison between SFHP our teams and Cognizant as a vendor to application issues, defects, enhancements and general application support.
  • Troubleshoot and coordinate internally and with vendor in response to QNXT application issues.
  • Support QNXT application upgrades through review of application release notes, working with team members to clarify and train on enhancements and defect fixes, and supporting internal project team members with application questions and issues.
  • Lead and facilitate SFHP's participation in the Cognizant Q-User enhancement process.
  • Help with effort to ensure the QNXT application meets current strategic needs. We do this through collaboration with team members to assess priorities. Additionally, collaborate with the vendor to communicate our needs, requirements, and priorities, thereby ensuring the application also meets future strategic needs.
  • Collaborate with leadership and partners to support strategic initiatives, including supporting the drafting of business cases, project proposals, and other supporting analysis.
  • Develop and recommend best practices for system design and configuration.
  • Review functional design and our requirements per established peer review guidelines to ensure quality control.
  • Review application release notes, report application defects to vendors and support application upgrade efforts.
  • Recommend and implement configuration changes to improve overall efficiency and system processing.
  • Work together with UAT and end-users to develop appropriate test plan to verify configuration changes work as intended.
  • Collaborate with system end-users to recommend and develop operational processes and process improvements together with system development work.
  • Document functional specifications for system solutions and enhancements to existing business systems.
  • Communicate results through written documents and maintain configuration database.
  • Identify opportunities for process and quality improvement.
  • Support team onboarding and training efforts.


WHAT YOU WILL BRING:



  • A bachelor's degree in areas such as Business Administration, Health Administration, Public Health, or other relevant fields; or equivalent work experience
  • Master's in Business Administration, Health Administration, Public Health preferred
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience as a Configuration Analyst
  • Prior experience at a healthcare organization, particularly at a managed care health plan
  • QNXT configuration and testing experience e.g. prototyping, enhancements, unit testing and system upgrades
  • Experience with health care claims processing and data sets such as ICD-9/10 and CPT/HCPCs, provider contracts and benefits
