The Commercialization Group is seeking a technician to support the maintenance of business for Interior and Exterior Architectural products designed for Paint Stores Group.

Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company's staff, employees, and business relationships.

* Supporting MOB for Stores Control Labs: including Production Issues, Quality Complaints, Marketing Requests
* Performing lab testing including scale ups, performance testing and heat age stability
* Support of routine experiments, recording results and learning basic knowledge of equipment/computing tools to capture and record data
* Communication within the project team regarding project needs and status
* Developing basic knowledge and understanding of product lines and raw materials
* Establishes timeline for assignments based on priorities with assistance from their supervisor.
* Proficient in operating moderately complex lab instruments.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Must be legally authorized to work in the country for which you are applying for employment (without now or in the future needing sponsorship for employment work visa and/or permanent residence status).
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Must be at least 18 years of age.
* Knowledge of basic computer skills
* Basic Microsoft Suite skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, Etc)
* Basic math skills
* Proven problem-solving abilities
* 1 year of experience in a lab setting

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Associates or Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math ('STEM') field
* Ability to interact effectively with various levels of technical experience
