JOB SUMMARY

The Training & QA Optimization Strategist is responsible for designing and executing technical, analytical, and strategic initiatives that enhance the effectiveness, scalability, and innovation of the Training and Quality Assurance departments. This role blends programming, data analytics, and strategic planning to drive operational improvements, support automation, and deliver actionable insights. The strategist owns many training environments, reporting infrastructure, and AI strategy for both departments, and serves as a key enabler of continuous improvement.

DUTIES



  1. Build and maintain learner sandbox environments, including programmatic creation and duplication of training cases.
    2. Automate updates to training data fields and test work validation processes.
    3. Generate and validate practice work using tools such as Excel, MS Forms, and custom scripts.
    4. Build automated notifications based on training and/or QA activity.
    5. Create and maintain learner, trainer, and course success metrics using test work outputs.
    6. Develop and manage a comprehensive reporting program for Training department.
    7. Track and analyze metrics such as classroom hours, document updates, learner graduation rates, and feedback scores.
    8. Build dashboards and reporting tools using Excel, Power BI, SQL, Oracle, Python, C#, and Visual Basic.
    9. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance across all reporting systems.
    10. Interpret data trends to inform decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.
    11. Own and implement the AI strategy for both departments, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency.
    12. Use training and QA data to drive workflow improvements and strategic insights.
    13. Develop scalable staffing and cost models to support departmental growth and sustainability.
    14. Lead process improvement initiatives across key workflows in Training and QA.
    15. Benchmark internal practices against industry standards and research external trends to inform strategy.
    16. Conduct cost-benefit analyses to quantify the impact of training and QA initiatives.
    17. Partner with trainers, QA staff, and department leaders to translate insights into actionable improvements.
    18. Support change management efforts by training staff on new tools and processes, gathering feedback, and iterating on solutions.
    19. Facilitate stakeholder engagement and maintain feedback loops to ensure alignment and adoption.
    20. Own and manage multiple training and QA environments, including sandbox setup, data integrity, and system updates.
    21. Maintain reporting infrastructure and ensure tools are optimized for departmental needs.
    22. Assist QA teams with calibration efforts to ensure consistency in scoring and evaluation.
    23. Lead initiatives to streamline QA processes and workflows (e.g., scoring templates, automation of audit sampling, error identification).
    24. Evaluate AI models used in QA processes for performance, bias, and reliability.
    25. Develop and implement new QA scoring methodology, potentially in partnership with an external vendor.
    26. Apply statistical models and concepts to ensure practical, scalable implementation across all QA-audited areas.
    27. Serve as the subject matter expert for the methodology, supporting education and adoption among QA leadership.
    28. Select, develop, and evaluate staff to ensure the efficient operation of department.
    29. Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.
    30. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.
    31. Demonstrate Company's Core Competencies and values held within.

Key responsibilities include managing training environments, maintaining reporting infrastructure, and shaping AI strategy for both departments, serving as a critical partner in continuous improvement efforts.

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this position is $110K to $130K. Specific offers take into account a candidate's education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate's work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.
