Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer supporting a fast-paced healthcare location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, respond to calls for assistance, and communicate clearly with staff, patients, and visitors. Working with an agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will bring integrity and a people-first mindset to every interaction while helping operations run smoothly across the property.

3+ years combined military / law enforcement

or armed security experience

Pay Rate: $16.95 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out Allied Universal and site-specific security-related procedures, access control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate for a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with clinical staff and local first responders when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards, reporting findings per post orders.
  • Control entry and exit points by monitoring authorized access, checking identification as required, and assisting with visitor management and/or wayfinding in coordination with facility policies.
  • Complete security-related reports and documentation such as incident reports, shift activity logs, and evidence of patrols, and communicate notable issues to supervisors and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have 3+ years' combined law enforcement/military/security experience or a college degree.
  • Have an Armed Guard Card/License.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
