Description TEKsystems is seeking a strong data scientist to help one of our clients based in Dallas. Healthcare and having worked along side marketing teams is needed for this role. It is a contract to hire opportunity. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: * Data mining or extracting usable data from valuable data sources * Using machine learning tools to select features, create and optimize classifiers * Carrying out preprocessing of structured and unstructured data * Enhancing data collection procedures to include all relevant information for developing analytic systems * Processing, cleansing, and validating the integrity of data to be used for analysis * Analyzing large amounts of information to find patterns and solutions * Developing prediction systems and machine learning algorithms * Presenting results in a clear manner * Propose solutions and strategies to tackle business challenges * Collaborate with Business and IT teams * Builds actionable data visualizations that identify areas of opportunity and help drive Excellence at scale. * Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with several stakeholders across multiple organizations * Ability to facilitate conversations with Business Owners and Stakeholders to understand the problem, rapidly iterate proposed solutions, and clearly present new findings/ solutions. Skills Machine learning, Python, Data science, R, Sql, power bi, Clustering, Predictive modelling, Data analysis, Azure Additional Skills & Qualifications DESIRED OUTCOMES: * Successfully mining, interpreting, and cleaning data to uncover hidden opportunities for realizing the data's full potential. * Developing and optimizing machine learning classifiers and prediction systems. * Enhancing data collection procedures and ensuring the integrity of data used for analysis. * Collaborating with Business and IT teams to propose solutions and strategies to tackle business challenges. * Facilitating conversations with Business Owners and Stakeholders to understand problems and present new findings/solutions * Demonstrating a commitment to getting the job done and achieving results. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, TX. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $80.00 - $85.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
